About the BIDS P3I

This gallery features rendered 3D images of the BIDS P3I, which is used by the US Military. I modeled the entire inside of the BIDS to scale, then rendered certain shots for use in a computer-based training class. Soldiers could then become familiar with the BIDS before working in the real thing. An instructor would create scenarios that the soldiers would have to react to. Soldiers were able to click to different views, zoom in on certain screens & tools, & operate the equipment. All the maps were created in Photoshop, with the 3D work being done in Strata.
