Howdy! I'm Chris. And as the title vaguely suggests, this is the page where I tell you all about myself, whether you want to hear it or not.

I'm a 32 year old white male, who occasionaly acts like he's 12. I'm 6'-4" and 220 pounds. I have dark-blonde hair and light-blue eyes. Hell, just see the photos section to see what I look like.

I was born in Baltimore, Maryland, but pretty much grew up in the Tampa Bay area of Florida. I moved back up to the Baltimore/Washington DC area at 20, and still reside here... though I'm getting a wee bit tired of the traffic, pollution, crime and millions of people.

Job-wise, I'm a computer artist, doing alot of Photoshop and 3D work (check out my Art Gallery for some examples). I got my BA in "Imaging and Digital Arts" at UMBC, where I graduated Cum Laude (pretty impressive for a dumb guy). Lately, I've been working for my buddy Mike's business, The 24 Hour Company, doing alot of graphics for oral and written proposals.

One of my big hobbies is building prop replicas and models. I mostly build things from Sci-Fi movies (see my favorites below). If you want to build props right and have them look good, you REALLY need to take your time, focus, and be patient; I find this helps me to relax and remove the "clutter" that fills up my mind from the work-week. I have a Props & Models page, however, there's nothing there yet.

I'm also a songwriter and musician. My main "instrument" is vocals, both lead and harmonies. I play rhythm guitar with some lead ability. I mess around with bass and keyboard, but I'm FAR from a wiz at them. I'm writing an album (though I haven't touched it in a while); the whole album tells a story, with each song telling a part of that story, while being capable of standing on it's own. Doing all the writing alone is a huge task (writing music for guitar, keyboards, etc and the lyrics and how the lead and harmony vocals go), but it's almost done. Now I just have to record the bloody thing... that's another billion years of work. I have a couple of ideas and songs for other albums, but I'd like to finish this one before hopping onto anything else.

I also enjoy writing scripts... mostly comic books, movies, & TV. You can see a couple examples at my Writing Page.
